In cities as hot as Manila, who wouldn’t want to breathe fresh cool air and taste refreshing buko juice every once in a while? Only an hour or two-drive away, Tagaytay City offers an array of understated but nevertheless worth dining-in restaurants. One is Green ATS Bulalohan that is located along the Tagaytay Ridge near Bag of Beans and the infamous Antonio’s. This restaurant serves so many bukos (young coconuts ) that every guest will be certain that he will get a young three-month old one having fresh and tender white buko meat and rejuvenating juice. Don’t forget their inexpensive (only PhP80.00 / $US1.75.00) yet infamously-scrumptious Buko a la Ube Ice Cream! Rawr!

Aside from their bukos, another good stuff about this place is that they provide sufficient parking lot for their guests who are mostly travelers. And what a great sight to see while relishing my Buko a la Ube Ice Cream – the smallest volcano God has ever made: Taal! Unfathomable!

I will be honest. The service may not be top-notch but enjoying the magnificent view while waiting for our food is enough to relax our minds. Also, the crew served the buko juice before the coconut itself!

Good news for constant travelers and gimikeros! Green ATS is open 24/7! So if you and your friends, family, or loved-one are on a food-tripping mood, just remember that a fresh serving of Buko a la Ube Ice Cream is just waiting for you in Tagaytay!
