June Bride! The Wedding Month

Wedding are again occupying of the bulletin board of our church with the marriage banns! Yes! The so called ‘June bride’ are again lining up…this month of June. As of this time, there are already 30 weddings, schedule for this month.

June! The Wedding Month

Again, the wedding coordinators, choirs, flower arrangers, hotel and restaurants are so preoccupied entertaining their respective clients. Ohh! What a colorful month we have this month of June, especially here at Out Lady of Lourdes Paris – Tagaytay, …as it becoming famous to be the wedding capital of the Philippines.

I congratulate all those couples who still believe and value the sacrament of matrimony, while some of our young couples are no longer thinking of marrying in the church and even with the civil rite. They still see the importance of having God in their relationship and in giving Him a center place in their life. It is true! No one and nothing could bind us together, either as a community, as a family or as husband and wife, but God alone. His love alone could sustain and give meaning to that love between a Man and a Woman.

June The Month of Wedding

Without God in our life, human as we are, I don’t think we could sustain that love we have in our heart. It is always easy to powerful than us, who alone could teach us how to love as Jesus did… without if’s and but’s, without any condition…at all times and in all seasons! And that someone is our mighty, good and loving God.

So for all those who will receive the sacrament of matrimony this month of June… my best wishes! Don’t worry, our God is always faithful…He who started the good works in you, will also be the one to sustain it, until you finish it up to the very end! Good luck!
